Now here’s a song that sent a shiver down my spine. Unguarded = immediate inspiration – this is definitely going on my writing playlist. Rae Morris, you sure have talent girl. Love it.

Music has always had an enormous influence on my writing and even how I write. It’s funny how some songs just tap into something that you’re not even aware of.

I need to find my pen and paper now. I can feel a chapter coming on.

Here is a copy of my daughter’s book. She has had her animation project work printed up into a book for her exhibition on Thursday. That makes two authors in the family!

Can a very proud mum ask for you to join me in sending all your positive energy and good luck wishes in her direction for Thursday’s big exhibition of her work to the university of Teesside and the industry bods?

Jasmine’s Journey

What a journey and it all started with Mr Smith, who invested his time and effort into encouraging my daughter, Jasmine Varley, into pursuing her ICT education and particularly animation. He taught her animation and I can’t express enough, just how grateful I am to him. Here are some pictures that show her journey from her GCSE results to moving into university, to the young woman she has become today.

With all her life in front of her, she handed in her last assignment at university and with the only thing left to do being her Vivo presentation, another chapter in her life is drawing to a close.

I just wanted to share her journey with you today and say thank you to all the people in her life, who have made this possible for her to reach the end of her animation degree. I don’t know where all the time went, but we enjoyed getting to this point. As the horizon opens up before her, we look forward to her graduation and the future that lies ahead of her.
