Merry Christmas everyone and a massive thank you for all your support, likes, shares and positive comments throughout 2017.

2017 – the year of fresh starts and new beginnings. It’s easy to forget that new beginnings can be difficult. You only had to watch the news during 2017 to see how changes affected huge swathes of people when opinions divided them. Change is difficult even for the most flexible people and 2017 has brought so much change with it. As I sit here writing this and reflecting upon this year, I look at all the things I didn’t do, all the things on my To Do list that remain outstanding. It would be easy to feel defeated but reflection must be balanced so turning my attention to what I did accomplish, I stand victorious in having brought about life changing events that remain behind the scene.

Admittedly, I didn’t manage to get Trapped out this year and would have liked to. I apologise for that because I know many of my fans have had to wait a long time for this, but I promise it will be worth the wait. The overhaul that ensued was tremendous. I’ve taken the story off in a new direction and created a much bigger back story than I had originally written. I wasn’t happy with releasing what I had because I believe in quality over quantity. I want longevity for the saga and that can only be achieved through producing shelf worthy page turners. I hope to have you on the edge of your seats, crying with the trials and tribulations that Bronte and her family have to deal with and falling in love with this story. The story moves on 5 years and to Ireland. It’s time to get a lot more fantasy so get ready for an action packed next installment.

Another accomplishment this year was the explosion in fans and true followers. I almost hit 20,000 followers on Twitter alone. That is phenomenal because I don’t put in nearly enough work to gain such a following. I appreciate each and everyone of you. I would also like to give special thanks to my friends and fellow authors who have shared my work this year and supported me through my toughest year to date. I couldn’t have gotten through this year without their support. They are more special than they realise.

Although it isn’t evident to the onlooker, a life changing shift took place for me this year. A lot of set-up took place behind the scenes. I had to take most of the year out to deal with some personal circumstances that have considerably changed my life but in dealing with them, they in turn set my life up better to write. This is why I am so amazed at how The Hidden Saga has taken off regardless of my absence from social media for long spells. It’s easy to get swept away with life but it is beginning to look like life has a plan for me after all. With that in mind, I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings. As I learn from the past, appreciate those in my life and continually strive to improve my writing, I look forward to the new horizon and the adventures in store that have not yet been revealed to me. I wonder what next and can’t wait to see what unfolds.
