Hidden was voted best in category at the S.J.Hermann 2016 Hot off my Kindle awards last night.

I am pleased to announce that all your support and appreciation for my work paid off last night. You may remember that I called upon you to once more to support my work and get behind Hidden in voting for it after I found out that it had been nominated for S.J. Hermann’s 2016 Hot off my Kindle Awards. Well, it paid off. Hidden was voted best in the YA/Children’s category.

I am so over the moon and can’t thank you enough for really getting behind me. I’d like to say a massive thank you to all my followers, family and friends who voted, because I won!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe it and I can’t tell you how elated I am to have been nominated in the first place and gone on to come best in my category. I was up against two exceptionally talented authors – A.M. Manay and Suzie Jay. I would like to congratulate them for all their hard work and introduce you to my fellow writers.

Special thanks needs to go to the man who made it all possible in the first place – S.J. Hermann, author of The Morium Trilogy, who put all of this together for the nominated authors. I had an article featured on Shelley Workinger, Writer‘s ‘But What Are They Eating’ blog on Thursday of last week. I was challenged with taking a look at Hidden – Book 1 of The Hidden Saga and telling my audience about the story from a food angle.

I have to admit that it pushed my comfort zones to the limit and tested my writing skills, but what a challenge.
